		What's Ye Mystic Krewe of Neptune All About? The first Krewes were established more than 300 years ago in Mobile, Alabama to celebrate Mardi Gras. Over 100 years ago, Tampa's Krewe of Gasparilla was formed and began producing the first Gasparilla celebration, and now continues as an annual tradition today with almost a hundred Krewes in the Tampa Bay area. In today's stressful business environment the Krewe of Neptune provides an opportunity to relax, party and socialize with friends. Whether it's a costume party or black tie affair, you and your spouse or significant other will enjoy the company of others in a wide variety of fun activities every month. It does not take long to develop a strong sense of camaraderie and fellowship in the Krewe - because we are a stimulating group of friendly people. 		Gasparilla Weekend Friday, January 27th & Saturday, January 28th The Friday night party is at the Latam Restaurant in Tampa from 7-11:00 PM. Dinner is at 7:45. A hot band will play from 7:00 to 7:45, and then again from 9:00 to 11:00 Please wear Spanish themed outfits, or black and red cocktail attire. Saturday is the Gasparilla Parade, buses at 9:30 and 11 AM from the hotel to staging. Lunch is provided at the parade float staging area, Krewe members will be provided a tasty lunch of Cuban sandwiches, chips, and a very large chocolate fountain. Plus, we'll have a "DJ" on the float spinning sizzling tunes. Saturday Night Post-parade Dinner. Too tired to go out to dinner? This year you have a choice to participate in a Saturday night after the parade "pot luck dinner" at the hotel. We need you to let us know if you plan to be an active participant in the pot luck dinner when the RSVP form is emailed to you. OR -- Eat out and hook-up with other YMKN members and go to one of many nearby Tampa restaurants. Hotel Headquarters is at the Residence Inn at 101 E. Tyler Street in Tampa.
