Chef de la Krewe

Every fall, the “Chef de la Krewe” event is held by order of the King where Krewe members prepare entries in different cullinary categories. They are judged by chefs of local restaurants. The overall winner of the best entry is announced at the Coronation Ball, where he receives the high honor of "Chef de la Krewe" and is presented with the coveted Krewe Chef's Jacket.
